Do I need a player box if my TV is already smart?

The Five Setup Steps
- Mount the TV and run power plus HDMI. In the queue's line of sight, cables in the wall.
- Plug in the player and connect it to your WiFi. Turn off the TV's auto power-off and sleep timers.

Text Size: the Part Everyone Gets Wrong
A rough rule: about 25mm of letter height per 3 metres of viewing distance. On a 1080-pixel-tall design:

These are floors. If you cannot read the price from the door in two seconds, neither can a customer.
Menu Design Rules That Actually Matter
- Five to six items per screen, maximum, with big prices.
- Photos sell, but only good ones. One strong photo beats ten dim thumbnails.
- Rotate a few slides. Two to four slides avoid burn-in and give promos a slot.
- Match the orientation to the content. Landscape for columns, portrait for single-column lists and promos.
Daypart Scheduling: the Real Payoff
Breakfast until 11am, lunch sets until 3pm, tea-time promo until 6pm, dinner after. A weekend bundle is set once against Saturday and Sunday.
Ramadan hours and public holidays go in as a promotion with start and end dates. Your normal week returns by itself after.
